Davidson Battles Liberty to Scoreless Draw

LYNCHBURG, Va. – Coming off a 3-0 victory in its last outing, Davidson opened a three-game road trip tonight with a scoreless draw at Liberty inside Osborne Stadium.
With its first tie of the 2022 campaign, the Wildcats move to 1-4-1 overall, while the Flames are now 2-1-2.
Davidson, which created the better scoring opportunities, finished with an 8-7 advantage in shots, four coming on frame.
In addition, the 'Cats held a slim edge in corner kicks.
Giacomo Piccardo was only forced to make one save for the Wildcats in goal.
Denis Krioutchenkov, Vincent Bennage, Jack Brown and Alonzo Clarke paced Davidson with two shots each.

Davidson will open its Atlantic 10 Conference slate Saturday afternoon when it travels to George Washington for a 1 p.m. kickoff.
