Field Hockey Hosts Richmond, Ohio This Weekend

The Davidson field hockey team will play its next two games at home, beginning with Friday's 6 p.m. contest against Atlantic 10 foe Richmond at Belk Turf Field.

To date, the Wildcats have played six of eight games on the road. They'll follow Friday's game with a non-conference contest against Ohio at 11 a.m. Sunday.

Anna Sharp and Natalie Naticchia lead the Wildcats with three goals each.

SCOUTING THE SPIDERS, BOBCATS
Richmond has two wins, both in A-10 play. The Spiders earned a 4-0 win over Saint Louis and a 3-1 win over La Salle and, most recently, played nationally ranked Saint Joseph's to a 1-0 game.

The Spiders feature returning all-conference player Steffie Bongers, who has three goals and four assists.

Ohio will play at Appalachian State Friday before visiting Davidson. The Bobcats are 3-7 and are led by Jillian Shive and Katelyn Whittle, who have scored six goals apiece.
