'90s NIGHT
Come out to Richardson Stadium for '90's night! The first 700 fans will receive a '90's themed stadium cup, while in-game promotions will give fans the chance to win Bojangles gift cards, Davidson prize packs and Surge soda! Also featured will be throwback pricing on a Hot dog, drink and chip combo and music from the Mooresville High School Band!
LAST TIME OUT
Davidson scored 34 first half points en route to a 34-13 season opening win over Brevard at Richardson Stadium last Saturday. The Wildcats rushed for 334 yards and were led on the ground by Wesley Dugger who registered 118 yards on 17 carries including a 67-yard scoring scamper on the third play from scrimmage. In his new role as a slot receiver, junior William Wicks registered 124 all-purpose yards and a pair of TDs. Sophomore linebacker Harrison Hill led the defense with 8 total tackles and picked off a pass, returning it 48 yards for the score.

Harrison Hill became the first Wildcat to win PFL Defensive Player of the Week honors since Tony Collins earned the recognition as a freshman in 2016.
SCOUTING THE HAWKS
Chowan opened the season against former PFL foe, Campbell, last weekend, falling to the Camels, 49-26. Despite the final score, the Hawks scored three touchdowns in the final quarter at Campbell. Chowan dual-threat quarterback Bryce Witt completed 11-of-24 passes for 100 yards, but threw a pair of interceptions. He did rush for a score and gained 93 yards on the ground. Jayden Riley completed 4-of-7 in relief including two 4th quarter touchdown passes. On the defensive side of the ball, Dre Terry led the team with 7 tackles, while Marcus Devin and Calvin Stephens picked off Camel passes - Stephens returned his to the house.
Defensive end Tyler Bembry was named to the 2018 NFL Regional Combine Preseason Defensive NFL Hopefuls Watch List. Chowan was picked 7th in the CIAA Preseason Coaches Poll, with Donald Boone and Torry Baker making the offensive All-Preseason team and Bembry on the defensive side of the ball.
