Wildcat Tidbits
• Davidson will conclude its 2015-16 regular season with a 3:30 p.m. contest against George Washington Saturday at Belk Arena.
• Coming off a 70-60 setback at league-leading VCU, the Wildcats enter 17-11 overall and 9-8 in A-10 play.
• Prior to the contest, Davidson will honor its 2015-16 Senior Class -- Jordan Barham, Jake Belford, Brian Sullivan and Matt Williams.
• Davidson's seniors have accounted for 87 wins, a 55-15 conference record, three regular season titles and three postseason appearances.
• Jack Gibbs leads Davidson averaging 24.5 points per game, which is fourth nationally behind James Daniel (Howard), Buddy Hield (Oklahoma) and Josh Adams (Wyoming).
• Gibbs also ranks among league leaders in scoring (1st), assists (4th/5.0), 3-point field goals per game (4th/2.8), steals (5th/1.8) and free-throw percentage (T-6th/.845).
• Gibbs has scored at least 40 points in a game three times this season, 35 or more seven times and hit the 30-point mark nine times.
• The only player with more 40-point games in a season over the last six years is Jimmer Fredette (BYU; 2010-11).
• Peyton Aldridge (15.3) and Sullivan (13.9) are also averaging double figures for the Wildcats.
• Aldridge paces the club in double-doubles (4), rebounding (6.4) and free-throw percentage (.854).
• In 25 out of 28 contests this season, a Wildcat has gone over the 20-point plateau.
• As a team, Davidson ranks 10th nationally in free-throw shooting (.764), 15th in 3-point field goals per game (9.8) and 16th in assist-turnover ratio (1.48).
• In conference play, the Wildcats are shooting 80.3 percent from the charity stripe.
• A win would give the Wildcats' double-digit league victories for the 22nd time under head coach Bob McKillop.
• Davidson competed in the Southern Conference for 74 years before officially joining the A-10 in July of 2014.
