THE FINAL FAREWELL
The Wildcats will honor veterans Lauren McFayden, Katherine English, Becca Jones, and Anne Federico prior to face-off. The group has been a part of a historic run for DCFH, helping the team transition from the NorPac to the Atlantic 10 Conference and earning the first trip to the A-10 Championships in school history. The quartet has led a team that currently tops the league in assists (43), defensive saves (8), and penalty corners (134), ranks second in goals off corners (14), and third in goals scored (44).
LAST TIME OUT
The Wildcats swept the weekend, topping Saint Louis and Missouri State. Friday's affair saw career-highs from a trio of its seniors; Katherine English turned in a personal-best three assists, and Becca Jones and Anne Federico recorded their first multi-goal game of their careers, each scoring twice. The 'Cats carried their momentum into Sunday, with goals by English and Federico and junior Hannah Fisher.
SCOUTING THE HAWKS
Saint Joseph's enters Saturday leading the A-10 at 13-5 overall and a perfect 7-0 in conference action. 2015 A-10 Rookie of the Year and six-time A-10 Player of the Week Anna Willocks leads the team and league in every offensive category except assists, where she is tied with Davidson's own Courtney Byler with 11. Willocks' 1.22 goals per game rank her third in the nation, totaling 22 goals on the year. Another key contributor is freshman Pepa Serrano, a three-time Rookie of the Week selection, who boasts four goals and 11 assists for SJU. Goalkeeper Victoria Kammerinke has tallied 64 saves on the year, with the best goalie win-loss percentage in the league.
