THE SERIES
VS. UNCG: Davidson trails in the all-time series, 27-36. UNCG is making its second trip in two years to Wilson Field due the schedule disruption caused by the departure of College of Charleston from the conference. Davidson has won the last three series against the Spartans at home, sweeping in 2009 and and taking two of three in 2011 and 2013.

SCOUTING UNCG
The Spartans are 17-17 overall, 4-7 in Southern Conference play and 4-8 on the road. UNCG enters the series hitting a SoCon second-best .306 as a team with seven players batting .307 or better. The Spartans also sport a 4.72 earned run average. Senior infielder Sean Guite is having a solid campaign - pacing the team in batting average at .397 while also placing among the top 10 in the Southern Conference in a number of statistical categories.
