• Winners of five straight and eight of their last nine, the Wildcats travel to Samford for a 7 p.m. (CST) tip Thursday evening.
• Coming off a 62-43 win over The Citadel, Davidson enters 12-11 overall and 8-1 in SoCon play.
• Despite getting off to a sluggish start against the Bulldogs, the Wildcats broke open a two-point game midway through the second half with a 24-6 run, highlighted by five treys, including three from Jake Belford.
• Along with shooting 60.9 percent after intermission, De'Mon Brooks eclipsed the 20-point plateau for the third straight contest with 23 points on 9-of-10 shooting, while Belford added 11 points off the bench.
• For his efforts in wins over Chattanooga and The Citadel, Brooks was named SoCon Player of the Week for the second time in the last three weeks.
• In conference play, the Wildcats are shooting a league-leading 52.7 percent from the floor, 43.5 percent from 3-point range and 76.7 percent at the charity stripe.

• Davidson has won 21 of its last 22 conference games and 28 of 30 dating back to 2011-12.
