About the CBI
• The CBI presented by Zebra Pen, which began in 2008, is a single-elimination tournament up until the Championship Series, with all games played at campus sites, providing fans the opportunity to follow and support their team. The event features eight first-round games, four quarterfinal round games, a semifinal round, and then the Championship Series.
• The 16-team field consists of teams not selected for the NCAA Tournament. Teams are invited based upon performance during their conference and non-conference schedules, as well as how well the team is playing at the end of the regular season. Six participants in the 2010 CBI presented by Zebra Pen have earned berths in the 2011 NCAA Tournament: Akron, Boston University, Indiana State, Morehead State, Princeton and VCU. The CBI?sent a greater percentage of its 2010 field to the 2011 NCAA?Tournament than the NIT or CIT.
• HDNet, which reaches in excess of 23 million homes, will serve as the primary television outlet for the tournament. Past CBI champions are Virginia Commonwealth (2010), Oregon State (2009) and Tulsa (2008). Fellow Southern Conference member College of Charleston has competed in the last two tournaments.

• The Wildcats opened SoCon play with two games in Charleston for the second-straight campaign.

• Cohen needs 202 points for 1,000, and Kuhlman needs 203.
