Coaches' Comment: "Aidan is very experienced and his seasoning parlays to a connecting role for this team through his communication, demanding excellence and production in big moments. A left-footed winger who thrives on crossing to set up strikers, he's also very important in our defending shape and in transition."
2017: Season was cut short due to injury... Started all eight games he appeared in... Lone goal was the game-winner in Davidson's 2-1 victory over Presbyterian (8/26).Â
2016: Appeared in 12 matches with 10 starts as a sophomore... Scored his first collegiate goal and added an assist in Davidson’s win at Duke (10/4)... Also recorded an assist in Davidson’s win over UNC Asheville (9/9).
2015: Appeared in all 18 contests as a freshman, including a pair of starts.Â
Prep/Personal: Three-year starter for Charlotte Soccer Academy... Helped lead U-18 US Academy to 2014 and 2015 playoffs... An AP Scholar, Beta Club Member and member of Honor Roll all four years of high school... 2016 and 2017 summers playing with FC Carolina United... 2017 summer internship with AC&M Marketing on soccer event management... Son of Brett and Maureen Peterson... Has an older sister, Hannah... Majoring in Political Science... During 2018 summer worked with Hendrick Automotive... Also holds a leadership role to speak with Freshmen halls and others on campus about One in Four, a program to combat sexual misconduct and assault.Â
