Coaches' Comments: "Nate was arguably our most consistent defender in the 2016 season. He is dominant in the air, athletic and composed. Nathan is a leader on and off the game field."

2017: Limited to just four games due to injury… Helped the Wildcats to a 3-0 blanking of Duquesne (10/11/17).

2016: Started in a career-high 15 of 16 appearances as a junior... Scored his second collegiate goal against St. Louis (10/19)... Provided an assist on Christian Fechter’s goal against Gardner-Webb (8/26).

2015: Started nine of the 13 contests he appeared in as a sophomore… Set up Cort Coxhead’s golden goal in the Wildcats' win at St. Bonaventure (10/14)… Attempted a career-high three shots in setback against George Mason (10/31).

2014: Played in 17 of the Wildcats’ 18 games as a freshman… Played a season-high 49 minutes against Valparaiso (8/31) … Assisted on the Wildcats’ lone goal against Belmont-Abbey (9/12)… Scored his first career goal against Campbell (9/27)… Put five of his six shots on target, good for a 0.833 SOG% on the year.

Why did you choose Davidson: For me, Davidson was the best of both worlds.  The combination of a competitive, Division 1 athletic program along with an outstanding academic resume far surpassed that of any other school that I was interested in.  I think it will be the best chance for me to continue to open new doors in my soccer career while also creating just as many opportunities off the field. One thing that was different about Davidson was that there were no compromises being made with the balance between academics and soccer.  At Davidson, the soccer is important and the guys impressed me as being extremely competitive and wanting the best for the team. At the same time, the academic side of the school is just as competitive, but the guys seem to find a way to put 100 percent into both aspects.  The ability to collaborate and connect with professors and fellow peers is appealing to me and the small student-faculty ratio was another driving force in my decision. Finally, the pride in the school was expressed by the current students and alumni, and it is exciting to see that the Davidson community supports one another long after graduation. Overall, the friendly but competitive environment made Davidson an easy choice for me.
