Notes: Has started 21 consecutive games, tied for the most of any returning Davidson lettermen.
2008: Named to PFL Academic Honor Roll • Started all 11 games at fullback • All six carries on the season came at Lenoir-Rhyne, when he rushed for 42 yards and caught two passes for 22 yards • Caught 17 passes for 149 yards and two TDs for the season • Had two catches for 25 yards at Campbell • Had two receptions for 23 yards and a TD vs. Marist • Had two receptions for 23 yards vs. Dayton • Made three catches for 17 yards at UNC Pembroke • Had three receptions for 20 yards and a score at Morehead State • Had three catches for 19 yards vs. San Diego.
2007: Named second-team All-PFL • Rushed for seven yards and caught three passes for 42 yards in the season opener vs. UNC Pembroke • Ran for a TD and recorded a TD reception in that game • Had three catches for 23 yards at Wingate and three for 47 yards vs. Lenoir-Rhyne • Ran for a touchdown against the Bears • Caught a career-high seven passes for 45 yards at San Diego • Ran for a score vs. Drake.
2006: Played in all 10 contests, seeing action mostly on special teams • Had seven tackles, including two against Drake and Butler.
Prep Years: Three-year letterman and team captain as a senior for Coach Matt Shannon at Fairfax • Squad’s Defensive MVP and all-district performer each of his last two seasons • Honorable mention all-district as a sophomore • Also a four-year letterman with the lacrosse team • Led the team in scoring as senior captain • AP Scholar • Senior Class President • ROTC • Fellowship of Christian Athletes Leadership Council.
Personal: Born March 27, 1988, in Ft. Leavenworth, Ks. • Four-year volunteer at Christian Sports Camp • Assistant coach for eighth-grade basketball team • Letter to Colin Powell induced him to speak at high school graduation • Youngest of four children of Diahn and Craig.
