Bio
As consistent as they come, Crawford will uphold the tradition of excellent play of Wildcat linebackers. This no-frills hard-hitter will be vital to the success of the Davidson defense.
2006: Second-team Academic All-Pioneer Football League... 26th in the PFL with 51 tackles and ranked 10th in sacks with 3.5... also ranked seventh in tackles for loss with 10... forced three fumbles to tie for the league lead... Named PFL Defensive Player of the Week after recording five tackles, two forced fumbles and three pass breakups at Lenoir-Rhyne... Had eight stops, including one for loss, and a forced fumble in the season opener at VMI... Had a season-high nine tackles vs. Wingate... Had five tackles and two sacks vs. Jacksonville... Posted five tackles, including 2.5 for loss and a sack, against Dayton... recorded eight tackles vs. Butler.
2005: Academic All-PFL Second Team … had at least five tackles in eight of his nine starts … posted five stops in season opener, but a sprained ankle kept him off the field in week two … turned up the pressure in October, registering seven tackles, 2.5 for a loss with a five-yard sack, at Jacksonville … came back the next week with five tackles, two for a loss and a six-yard sack, at Morehead State … dropped eight Flyers to set a career high against Dayton … finished season with six stops in win at Georgetown … named to PFL Honor Roll for second straight year.
2004: Played on special teams and as a reserve in each of the nine games … assisted on a sack of the Butler quarterback during the 21-14 win over the Bulldogs … posted a season-high three tackles against Jacksonville and again at Austin Peay … helped out on two tackles for a loss, including a third-down sack, versus the Governors … PFL Honor Roll.
