INSIDE THE MATCHUP
This is the 8th meeting between Davidson and Loyola Chicago. The Ramblers lead the series 4-3. Prior to the previous meeting, Loyola Chicago won four straight over Davidson. The Wildcats beat the Ramblers 79-64 earlier this season in Chicago. Parker Friedrichsen led the way with a career-high 27 points, which included six three pointers. As a team, the 'Cats drilled 14 triples at a 43.8 percent clip. Roberts Blums and Nick Coval combined for 26 points.
The first meeting took place on December 28, 1973. Davidson's John Falconi ('74) recorded the program's first triple double with 17 points, 12 rebounds, and 11 assists.
Davidson's defense ranks fifth in the A-10 in scoring defense during conference play (70.1). Loyola Chicago ranks 13th in scoring defense in conference play (77.9).
LAST GAME
The Wildcats fell to No. 19 Saint Louis 91-82 on Tuesday night inside Belk Arena. Davidson led by as many as 13 points in the first half, but got outscored by 14 points in the second half. Three Wildcats scored in double figures and 11 total scholar-athletes scored. Josh Scovens recorded his first double double of the season (5th career) with 17 points and 10 rebounds.

Sean Logan is averaging 2.3 blocks per game (32 total) in just 14 games this season. The senior has blocked 18 shots in his last seven games played. Logan has appeared in nine of Davidson's 10 conference games and owns the second-highest blocks per game average in the A-10 during that span (2.4).
Logan has 122 career blocks, which is currently the third most in Davidson program history. Logan just passed the 2022 A-10 Player of the Year, Luka Brajkovic, who is now fourth on the list with 120. Jamie Hall ('82) is second with 159. Jake Cohen ('13) is at the top of that list with 197.
THE SC(oven)S IS HOT
Josh Scovens has scored in double figures in each of the previous seven contests (14.0 PPG) while shooting 65.1 percent from the floor. During conference play this season, the junior ranks 5th in field goal percentage (58.0) across the A-10.
Scovens reached the 1,000-point mark for his college career against Fordham on January 21. In two seasons at Army, the Greensboro native scored 824 points. He is averaging 10.7 points per game this season.
GOOD CARE
The Wildcats average the second-fewest turnovers per game in the A-10 this entire season (10.5).
BALANCE
Josh Scovens leads the team with 25.3 minutes per game. The last time Davidson didn't have anyone on a team average 30 or more minutes per game in a season was the 2001-02 squad.
