INSIDE THE MATCHUP
This is the 18th meeting between Davidson and Dayton. The Flyers lead the overall series 12-5. Up to this point, Davidson's only win inside UD Arena was back in 1973. The Wildcats are 0-8 against the Flyers in this building since joining the A-10. Davidson is looking to snap a 10-game losing streak against Dayton. Prior to a non-Division I game during the 9-day break from A-10 play, the 'Cats cruised to an 84-64 victory over Loyola Chicago at home on February 6. Three Wildcats scored in double figures led by Roberts Blums who had 16 points. Davidson made 12 threes at a 46.2 percent clip. The Wildcats are 12-1 this season when shooting 37 percent or better from downtown.
