Wildcats set Records and Win Hurdles at VertKlasse

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Jayden Smith won his second meet in as many weeks, winning the 110m hurdles on Saturday to highlight the final day of competition for the Davidson men's track & field team at the VertKlasse Meeting hosted by High Point.
Smith clocked a season-best time of 13.64 seconds. The All-American has won both of the events he has competed in this season.
John Teachman set another school record in the Javelin, breaking his own mark that he set two weeks ago. The previous record stood for 17 years before Teachman broke and then increased his record throw. Teachman recorded a 64.02m (210') throw, finishing fourth in final competition.
Eli Roth finished fourth in the mile, clocking a time of 4:12.55. This marked a career best for the freshman. Ryan Harris placed in sixth place in the 800 meters, running a season best 1:55.35.
