'Cats Compete in First Night of Charlotte Invitational

CHARLOTTE, N.C.- The Davidson Wildcats competed in the first night of the Charlotte Invitational on Friday night.
Freshman Eli Roth set a personal best in the 1500 meters, running 3:49.73. Roth finished tenth overall in the invitational race.
Alex Thole finished fifth in the open 5000 meters, scoring five points after running a time of 15:27.51. Edward Brown threw for the second furthest distance of his career in the hammer throw, finishing with a mark of 42.39 meters.
