'Cats Place Two Competitors At Duke Invitational

DURHAM, N.C.- Davidson finished a three day performance at the Duke Invitational by placing athletes in two events.
Jayden Smith finished second out of 45 competitors in the 110 meter hurdles on Saturday afternoon with a time of 13.78. He was a second-team All-American a year ago.
John Teachman placed sixth in the javelin throw. Teachman, the current school record holder, threw for 62.89 meters (206' 4"). He was the highest placing freshman in the event.

The Wildcats will return to action on Friday at the Wake Forest Invitational in Winston-Salem.
