LAST TIME OUT
  • Despite a game-high 25 points from Reed Bailey, Davidson fell to Saint Joseph's, 78-61, Tuesday evening inside John M. Belk Arena.
  • The setback was the first of the season for the Wildcats on Bob McKillop Court as they fell to 12-7 overall and 2-4 in Atlantic 10 Conference play.
  • The Hawks, who shot 50.8 percent, including 11-of-27 from long range, got double figures from Xzayvier Brown (20), Erik Reynolds III (17), Rasheer Fleming (12) and Justice Ajogbor (10).

THE LAST MEETING
  • Jordan King hit three free throws with two seconds left to lift league-leading Richmond over Davidson, 66-63, in Atlantic 10 men's basketball action last February from inside the Robins Center.
  • After a Grant Huffman triple as the shot clock expired evened the score, 49-49, the Spiders took advantage of a lengthy Davidson scoring drought to push the margin back to seven, 58-51 with 4:28 to play.
  • As they did all night, the Wildcats responded, this time with a 12-5 spurt highlighted by a Bobby Durkin trey with 14 ticks left, to deadlock things at 63-all.

  • Richmond went 15-1 at the Robins Center last season, with its only loss coming vs UMass on February 14. The Spiders are 4-5 on their home floor this year, led in scoring by DeLonnie Hunt's 16.8 points per game.
