Wildcats Drop Season Opener at Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Davidson College men's soccer team fell 3-0 to Charlotte in their season opener at Transamerica Field on Friday night.
After a defensive battle in the opening 45 minutes, the Niners took control with two goals early in the second half before adding another in the 81st minute to put the game out of reach.
Forwards Denis Krioutchenkov and Vincent Bennage recorded two shots a piece, and Lucas Beltran made four saves for the Wildcats.
