WILDCAT SCRATCHES
• The Wildcats have jumped out to a 5-2 start to the 2024-25 season, and play their first game of December on Friday night against the Buccaneers.Â
• So far this year, Davidson's big three - Reed Bailey, Connor Kochera and Bobby Durkin - are averaging 17.4, 16.3 and 15.6 points per game, respectively.
• Zach Laput and Roberts Blums have aided the offensive effort, averaging 8.0 and 6.9 points per game, respectively, in the first seven games of their Davidson careers.

• The Wildcats went 1-2 in the 2024 Battle 4 Atlantis down in Paradise Island.
• Davidson picked up a 69-58 victory over Providence, which previously received votes in the AP Top 25, and fell to No. 24 Arizona and No. 3 Gonzaga in the premier multi-team event.
• It's the third-straight season in which Matt McKillop's Wildcats have earned an MTE victory.
• Connor Kochera (16.67 ppg) and Reed Bailey (15.33 ppg) ranked among the top-15 scorers in the event, while Bobby Durkin ranked fifth in the event in three-point shooting (9 3FG/3.00 per game).
ABOUT THE BUCS
• Charleston Southern's Taje' Kelly won the Big South Player of the Week award after posting 40 points (20.0), 16 rebounds (8.0), and 9 assists (4.5) against two ACC opponents (Georgia Tech and Miami) last week.
• For the first time since 2018, three Buccaneers scored 20 or more points in a game. At Miami, RJ Johnson scored 23, Thompson Camara scored 21, and Taje' Kelly scored 20 with 11 rebounds.
• The Bucs return their top four scorers from last year's squad: Johnson (14.8), Kelly (14.4) Sumler (14.2), and Patrick (10.2).
