WILDCAT SCRATCHES
• It's the tale of two Wildcats as Davidson basketball welcomes Bethune-Cookman to Belk Arena Saturday for its seventh home game of the 2024-25 season. The 'Cats are a perfect 6-0 on McKillop Court.
• So far this year, Davidson's big three - Reed Bailey, Connor Kochera and Bobby Durkin - are averaging 18.9, 15.5 and 14.5 points per game, respectively.
• Zach Laput and Roberts Blums have aided the offensive effort, averaging 7.4 and 6.8 points per game, respectively, in the first 11 games of their Davidson careers.
• Davidson's Bobby Durkin currently ranks first in the Atlantic 10 in 3-point percentage (44.7%) and in 3-pointers per game (3.09).
• Starting five-man Sean Logan sits top-8 in the A-10 with 17 blocked shots this year. His 1.55 blocked shots per game is also good for seventh-best among the league.
ABOUT THE ROAD WILDCATS
• USF led for a total of 28 seconds as Bethune-Cookman upset South Florida, 77-69, Wednesday night at the Yuengling Center. It is the first win over USF for the Wildcats since 2005.
• Bethune-Cookman enters Saturday's tip at 3-8 overall with wins over North Dakota and South Carolina State in addition to Wednesday's victory.
• Brayon Freeman leads the Wildcats with 16.2 points per game.
IN BLUMS
• Davidson guard Roberts Blums was named Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week on Monday, Dec. 16. The weekly honor is the first for Blums and the Wildcats this season.
• In a 2-0 week, Blums averaged 12.5 points, 1.5 assists and one rebound per game, while shooting 47.4 percent from the floor and 43.8 from 3-point range (7-of-16).
• The freshman from Latvia scored a season-best 13 points in the 75-71 win over Charlotte Dec. 10, then scored 12 in last Saturday's 86-51 win over Detroit Mercy. He hit a season-high four treys against the Titans.

• Reed Bailey's 18.9 points per game ranks second in the A-10 and 42nd nationally. His 60 made free throws checks in at 25th nationally.
• Connor Kochera (15th) and Bobby Durkin (19th) also sit top-20 among the league's leading scorers.
• Davidson is 6-0 this season when four 'Cats reach double-figures in scoring.
• The 'Cats rank among the nation's best in assist/turnover ratio (19th/1.67).

• Despite a career-best 26 points from Reed Bailey and a late, go-ahead Bobby Durkin 3-pointer, Temple topped the Davidson Wildcats 62-61 in a nailbiter Wednesday night at the Liacouras Center.
• Davidson (8-3) led much of the night, but after Durkin's high-arcing trey put the Wildcats in front 61-60 with 10 seconds to play, Owl Elijah Gray scored the game-winner from the post with four seconds left.
