NEWPORT NEWS, Va. — Davidson swimmer Dylan Felt has been named Atlantic 10 Performer of the Week, the league announced Tuesday afternoon.
The honor is the second of the season (also Dec. 5) for Felt, a sophomore from Fort Lauderdale, Fla. It's the third weekly honor of his career.
"Dylan continues to impress, both in his preparation and his performance," said Davidson coach John Young. "I am grateful that he is an exceptional teammate in and out of the pool, and I am delighted to see him recognized by the conference office."
Felt won two events in Saturday's home win over William & Mary. He swam first in the 500 free in 4:30.31 and was out front in the 1,000 in 9:18.09, helping the Wildcat men win 154-134.
Last year's A-10 Most Outstanding Performer and Rookie, Felt owns three of the A-10's top freestyle times this season, including in the 200 (1:37.04), 1,000 (9:14.05) and 1,650 (15:20.08).
