'Cats Return to Action, Post Event Wins at William & Mary

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. — Five event wins and other notable swims highlighted Davidson's return to action Saturday at William & Mary.
The Wildcats, who returned this week from their winter training trip, were competing as a unit for the first time since late November.
The Davidson men fell 147-115 in the team tally, while the Tribe won the women's meet 202-60.
Dylan Felt won two events to lead the way. He swam first in the 1,000 free with a time of 9:17.19, as the Wildcats posted a 1-2-3 finish with Henry Logan and Jackson McDonald touching next. Felt also won the 500 free (4:30.62) in a 1-2 Davidson event with Logan second.
Andrew Schou's win in the 200 breast (2:03.15) led another 1-2-3 Wildcat finish, with Ryan Shute and Frank Howden taking second and third, respectively.
Liam McDonough added a win in the 100 back (49.49), while Fletcher Smith placed first in the 200 fly (1:48.29).
Ginny Thorsen led the Davidson women with two second-place finishes. She swam the 200 free in 1:51.24 and the 500 free in 4:58.27.
