Women’s Cross Country set to Begin 2023 Season

DAVIDSON, N.C. – The Davidson women's cross country team will open their 2023 season Friday at the Queen City Invite hosted by Queens University.
The annual event will take place at McAlpine Creek Park beginning at 5 p.m.
Under the direction of Head Coach Jen Straub, who is in her 24th season at the helm, the Wildcats return their top runner from a year ago in Frances Whitworth, who finished 18th at last year's A-10 Championships.
In addition to eight newcomers, Davidson also welcomes back juniors Abigail Nasse and Anne Berquist.
The Wildcats 2023 campaign will feature four regular season events followed the Atlantic 10 Championships at the end of October and NCAA Regionals Nov. 10.
