
Sullivan and Norman Shine for ’Cats at A-10 Championships

CEDARVILLE, Ohio – Behind all-conference runs from Molly Sullivan and Annie Norman, the Davidson women's cross country team finished seventh at the 2025 Atlantic 10 Championships Saturday morning.
Sullivan (21:22.7) and Norman (21:35.6) placed eighth and 15th, respectively, to earn first-team all-league honors. In addition, Norman was named A-10 Rookie of the Year following her best time in the 6K this season.
A senior from North Kingston, R.I., Sullivan bettered her previous personal best, which was set in the conference race a year ago, by more than 17 seconds this morning.
Loyola Chicago (51) claimed the team title by 12 points over George Washington (63). Saint Louis (108), Richmond (109) and La Salle (153) rounded out the Top-5, followed by George Mason (172) and the Wildcats (176).
Davidson's seventh place finish is its highest since the 2017 campaign.
The Patriots' Ella Semple captured the individual title with a time of 20:26.5 that was 13 seconds better than Loyola Chicago's Roisin Treacy (20:39.8).
Gilly Shumate (22:05.1 / 37th), Abby Smith (22:33.7 / 56th) Charlotte Moor (22:39.7 / 64th), Camryn Quinn (23:10.8) and Leah Horgan (23:24.4), Mary Shoop (23:36.1) and Justine Meta (23:54.9) also ran for the Wildcats.
