DAVIDSON N.C. – Winners of seven consecutive games, the Davidson women's basketball team will look to take on another victory Monday when it hosts UNC Wilmington for a 7 p.m. tip.

10 days ago, the Wildcats extended their winning streak to seven games after defeating High Point 77-40 on their home court Dec. 8.
Suzi-Rose Deegan, who scored 18 of her 22 first-half points in the second quarter, put the 'Cats up 20 at the break with a 30-foot jumper as time expired. The redshirt senior drilled four treys in the frame, while finishing 7-of-8 from the floor.
Mallorie Haines posted another strong showing from distance as she tallied 14 points while going 4-of-5 from beyond the arc.
Millie Prior rounded out double-digit scorers for the 'Cats with 13.
KEEP IT PUSHING…
The seven-game winning streak is the second longest in program history for the Wildcats behind a 10-game winning streak that was set over a decade ago.
DOMINANT DEEGAN...
Deegan has been on a hot streak from the floor as she posted her third 20-point game of the season and back-to-back showings against Dayton and High Point with a season-high 22. The win over the Panthers marked the seventh game this season that Deegan has scored in double figures including the fifth contest in a row.
Additionally, Deegan shot am impressive 83.3 (10-of-12) from the floor against Dayton and 9-of-13 over High Point marking the fifth and six overall games shooting above 50.0 percent and the fourth contest out of the last five doing such.
For her efforts, Deegan was named last week's Atlantic 10 Player of the week.
PRIOR MAKING PLAYS...
Prior continues to show her dominance on both ends of the court as she currently ranks 19th in all Division I in blocks with 21 after tallying three over Dayton. Prior has not gone a game this season without a block as a starter of all 10 contests. Additionally, Prior has had two or more blocks in six of the Wildcats' 10 games.
On the offensive end of the floor, Prior has now tallied double-digit points in six consecutive games and seven of 10 overall. Prior has shot over .500 in the last six match ups and most recently went a perfect 5-of-5 from the floor over High Point.
