• Davidson will continue its stretch of six out of nine on the road with a 1 p.m. contest at UMass on Saturday afternoon.
• Winners of five straight, the Wildcats enter 17-5 overall and alone atop the A-10 standings at 8-1 following a 68-53 win over Rhode Island.
• Off to its best start in conference play since joining the league in 2014-15, Davidson is 53-28 in A-10 regular season games and 61-31 including tournament play.

• Preseason all-conference selections Kellan Grady and Jon Axel Gudmundsson continue to lead Davidson in scoring, averaging 17.3 and 16.5 points, respectively.

• Jon Axel Gudmundsson recorded his sixth double-double (20 pts, 12 rebs) of the season to go along with 5 assists and 3 steals as Davidson pulled away from Rhode Island for a 68-53 win on Wednesday night.
• Gudmundsson scored all 9 of his first-half points from the foul line (9-of-10) and finished the game 4-of-7 from the field and 3-of-4 from 3-point range. His trey with 4:02 remaining gave the Wildcats a 62-46, their largest to that point.
• After being held scoreless the last two games at Saint Louis and St. Bonaventure, forward Luka Brajkovic responded with 18 points, pulled down 9 rebounds and blocked 5 shots.
