Wildcat Scratches
-- The Road to March driven by Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet continues Saturday as Davidson takes on fourth-seeded Rhode Island in the Atlantic 10 Tournament semifinals.
-- Ninth-seeded Davidson advanced to its third straight Atlantic 10 Championship semifinals with a 73-67 win over top-seeded Dayton.
-- In addition to becoming the fourth player in school history to score 2,000 career points, Jack Gibbs recorded a venue-record 34 points in the win over the Flyers.
-- The previous PPG Paints Arena record was set by teammate Peyton Aldridge, who netted 33 points in the Wildcats' win over La Salle in the second round on Thursday.
-- Gibbs, who now has 2,019 career points, joins Stephen Curry (2,635), John Gerdy (2,483) and Fred Hetzel (2,032) as the only Wildcats to hit the milestone.
-- Davidson, which captured the A-10 regular season title in 2015, is a combined 32-22 against league competition in just three seasons.
