-- The last time Davidson played consecutive games against Top-5 opponents was in the 2008 NCAA Tournament -- No. 5 Wisconsin (W, 73-56); No. 4 Kansas (L, 59-57).
-- Almost five years ago to the day (12/19/11), Davidson knocked off then-No. 12/11 Kansas, 80-74, at the Sprint Center.
-- Jack Gibbs leads the A-10 and ranks 4th nationally in scoring, averaging 24.3 points per outing.
-- Coming off a 30-point effort against the Tar Heels, the 14th of his career, Gibbs became the 15th player in school history to go over the 1,500-point plateau.
-- Fellow preseason all-league selection Peyton Aldridge is second on the club at 20.0 points per game, while leading the way in rebounding (6.6).
-- Aldridge is just 26 points shy of becoming the 49th player in school history to score 1,000 career points.
-- Gibbs and Aldridge are the nation's second highest scoring duo in the country, averaging a combined 44.3 points per outing. (See Page 2)
-- Through their first eight contests, the Wildcats are holding opponents to just 37.9 percent from the floor, which is 26th nationally.
