In her first collegiate match, Gabrielle Centenari went the distance as well. She came out strong with a 6-4 win, but Furman's Karlee Bryde came back to score a 6-4 victory in the second set and then finished the match with a 6-2 win.
Â
In doubles action, the Paladins (2-2) took wins at No. 2 and 3 positions to earn the first team point. The tandem of Elaina Cummer and Sarah Stein picked up their first win together with a solid 6-2 decision at No. 1.
