Wildcat Tidbits
• Riding an 8-game winning streak, Davidson will conclude its 2014-15 regular season with a 7 p.m. televised (ASN/WCCB2 Ch. 18.2) contest at Duquesne Saturday evening.
• Tied for first place in the Atlantic 10 standings with Dayton, the Wildcats can capture the top seed in next week's Conference Tournament with a win or Flyers' loss.
• Coming off a convincing 82-55 win over VCU, Davidson enters 22-6 overall and 13-4 in the league.
• Playing in front of the home crowd for the last time, senior Tyler Kalinoski paced five Wildcats in double figures with a game-high 22 points.
• In addition, Davidson shot 50.9 percent, including 11 3-pointers, while holding the Rams to just 39.6 percent.
• The 'Cats have also clinched a double bye and will make their A-10 Tournament debut in the quarterfinals Friday at the Barclay's Center in Brooklyn, N.Y.
• Over the last five contests, opponents are shooting just 38.7 percent (111-287) against the Wildcats.
• On Monday, sophomore Jack Gibbs was tabbed A-10 Player of the Week for the third time this season.
• The Wildcats have hit the 20-win plateau under head coach Bob McKillop 13 times, including 9 of the last 11 seasons.
• Seven different players have hit the 20-point plateau this season for the Wildcats.
• Three of Davidson's losses this season have come against nationally-ranked teams.
• Kalinoski continues to pace four Wildcats in double figures averaging 16.4 points per game.
• He is joined by Gibbs (15.8), Sullivan (13.1) and Jordan Barham (11.4).
• Kalinoski ranks among league leaders in scoring (16.4/7th), rebounding (5.7 rpg./19th), assists (4.0 apg./2nd), 3-point field-goal percentage (.413/7th), 3-pointers made (76/1st), free-throw percentage (.838/2nd), assist/turnover ratio (2.7/1st) and minutes played (34.7 mpg./5th).
• The Wildcats lead the nation in assist/turnover ratio (1.72), are second in 3-pointers per game (10.6) and seventh in scoring offense (79.6).
