Wildcat Tidbits
-- Davidson will continue its first-ever appearance in the 2015 Gotham Classic with a 7 p.m. contest against former league rival Western Carolina on Saturday at Belk Arena.
-- In addition to their Dec. 20 meeting with Pitt at Madison Square Garden, the Wildcats will also host Morehead State (Dec. 23) as part of the event, which features 10 games with all five teams playing each other.
-- Coming off a 96-86 win over Eastern Washington, Davidson is off to a 6-1 start for the second straight season.
-- Jack Gibbs hit the 35-point plateau for the third time this season, scoring a game-high 37 points on 12-of-17 shooting.
-- On Monday, Gibbs was named Atlantic 10 Player of the Week for the fifth time in his career.
-- Gibbs is averaging 26.7 points per game, which is second nationally behind Howard's James Daniel (28.4).
-- Brian Sullivan (17.3), Peyton Aldridge (14.3), and Jordan Barham (13.7) are also averaging double figures after seven games.

Gibbs and Curry
-- Dating back to 1979, Jack Gibbs and Stephen Curry are the only Davidson players to score at least 40 points in a contest.
