• Davidson, which has won eight of its last nine, will travel to VCU Wednesday for its first-ever Atlantic 10 road game.
• Coming off an 81-67 victory over Richmond in their inaugural Atlantic 10 contest, the Wildcats enter 10-2 overall, which matches (2008-09) the best start under head coach Bob McKillop.
• In their last outing, Jack Gibbs (32) and Tyler Kalinoski (21) each hit the 20-point plateau for the second straight contest, while Andrew McAuliffe matched his personal best with 10 off the bench.
• Gibbs and Kalinoski, who rank third and fourth among A-10 scoring leaders, continue to pace four Wildcats in double figures, averaging 17.4 and 16.8 points per game, respectively.
• Named A-10 Player of the Week on Monday for the second time this season, Gibbs also leads the Wildcats in 3-point field-goal percentage (.481), free-throw percentage (.909), assists (4.8) and steals (1.7).
• Peyton Aldridge, a two-time A-10 Rookie of the Week selection, is also averaging double figures at 10.9 points per outing, while junior Jordan Barham is contributing 10.4 points off the bench.
• Davidson's only losses this season came against then-ranked No. 6 North Carolina (11/22) and No. 3 Virginia (12/30).
• VCU is the third ranked opponent the Wildcats have faced in 2014-15.
• In addition to ranking fourth nationally in scoring offense (85.8 ppg), Davidson is averaging 11.3 3-pointers per game, which is also fourth best in the country.
