Wildcat Tidbits
• Davidson will conclude the month of January with a pair of road contests beginning with a 7 p.m. tip at George Mason Saturday.
• Coming off a 77-60 win over No. 22/22 Dayton Tuesday evening, the Wildcats enter 13-4 overall and 4-2 in league play.
• Davidson's victory over the Flyers was its first-ever at home over a nationally-ranked opponent.
• The win was the 15th in program history over a Top-25 team and first since knocking off then-No. 11/12 Kansas, 80-74, on Dec. 19, 2011 in Kansas City.
• In addition to Peyton Aldridge (22) and Tyler Kalinoski (21) combining for 43 points, the Wildcats shot 51.7 percent, including 12-of-23 from long range.
• Five different players have hit the 20-point plateau for the 'Cats this season.
• Kalinoski and Jack Gibbs, who rank sixth and 10th among A-10 scoring leaders, continue to pace five Wildcats in double figures, averaging 16.7 and 15.8 points per game, respectively.
• Gibbs also leads the league in free-throw percentage (.908) and assists (4.9), while ranking among A-10 leaders in several other categories.
• Aldridge (10.8), Jordan Barham (10.5), and Brian Sullivan (10.5) are also averaging double figures for the Wildcats this season.
• In addition to ranking seventh nationally in scoring offense (82.1 ppg), Davidson is averaging 10.7 3-pointers per game, which is fourth best in the country.
• The Wildcats also rank among national leaders in assist/turnover ratio (1.71/1st), assists per game (17.3/6th) and 3-point field-goal percentage (.400/17th).
