Wildcat Tidbits
• Davidson will play its second road contest of the 2014-15 season Wednesday when it plays at Montana.
• Riding a four-game winning streak, the Wildcats enter 6-1 following a 90-59 win over Stetson.
• In its last game, Davidson drilled a season-high 16 3-pointers, while assisting on 25 of 31 field goals and outrebounding the Hatters, 53-31.
• The backcourt duo of Tyler Kalinoski and Jack Gibbs continue to lead three Wildcats in double figures, averaging 16.7 and 14.0 points per game, respectively.
• Peyton Aldridge, who paces the team in rebounding (5.7), is also averaging double figures at 11.3 points per outing.
• On Monday, Kalinoski was named the Atlantic 10 Player of the Week after averaging 22.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists, while going 15-of-23 from the field and 12-of-17 from behind the 3-point line last week.
• This marks the third straight week a Wildcat has been honored by the league office -- Gibbs (12/1) and Aldridge (11/24).
• In addition to ranking fifth nationally in scoring offense (87.0 ppg), Davidson is averaging 12.4 3-pointers per game, which is tied for second in the nation.
• The Wildcats also rank among national leaders in assists per game (19.9/3rd), assist/turnover ratio (1.85/3rd), scoring margin (+19.9/12th), 3-point field-goal percentage (.420/19th) and rebounding margin (+9.4/21st).
• Davidson has won nine of its last 10 road games dating back to last season.
• The Wildcats have started a season 6-1 under head coach Bob McKillop four times.
• Up next, Davidson returns home for a 7 p.m. contest against Niagara on Saturday.
