Wildcat Tidbits
• Davidson will play its first road contest of the 2014-15 season when it travels to UCF for a 7 p.m. contest Wednesday evening on ESPN3.
• The Wildcats enter 2-1 on the young season following a 90-72 setback to No. 6/6 North Carolina at Time Warner Cable Arena in Charlotte Saturday.
• Senior Tyler Kalinoski and freshman Peyton Aldridge lead four Wildcats in double figures, averaging 13.0 points per game.
• Frontcourt mates Jake Belford and Oskar Michelsen are contributing 11.3 per outing, while Jordan Barham and Jack Gibbs are averaging 9.7 points.
• Through the first three contests, Davidson is shooting 41.9 percent (36-44) from long range and averaging 12.0 3-pointers per game, which is tied for fourth in the nation.
• Aldridge, who also paces the team in rebounding (7.0 rpg), was named the Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week.
• Now in his 26th season at the helm, head coach Bob McKillop is just one win away from 475 career victories.
• Following the Thanksgiving Holiday, Davidson will host in-state foe UNC Wilmington on Saturday at 2 p.m.

• Davidson has won four straight against UCF and leads the all-time series, 4-1.
• The Wildcats and Knights haven't met on the hardwood since Dec. 28, 1995, a 90-51 Davidson victory in the UNLV Holiday Classic.
• UCF's lone win in the series came in the very first meeting when the Knights edged Davidson, 53-51, at Belk Arena on Jan. 15, 1989.
• All five meetings have come during the Bob McKillop era.
