• For the third straight season (Duke, 2012-13; Virginia 2013-14) Davidson will host a nationally-ranked/ACC opponent at Time Warner Cable Arena when No. 6/6 North Carolina visits the Queen City for a 2 p.m. tip Saturday.
• Each of the five games the Wildcats have played in Charlotte have been against ACC foes. • Davidson is 1-4 all-time at TWC Arena, with its lone win coming against N.C. State on Dec. 6, 2008.
•Coming off an 86-51 victory over Campbell, Davidson enters 2-0 on the young season.
• Senior Tyler Kalinoski and freshman Oskar Michelsen lead five Wildcats in double figures, averaging 13.5 points per game.
• Through the first two contests, Davidson is shooting 53.5 percent overall and 50 percent (25-50) from long range, averaging 12.5 3-pointers per outing.
• In addition, the Wildcats' bench has accounted for 48 percent of their scoring.
• The Wildcats are 14-88 all-time when playing a ranked opponent (AP?Poll) and have lost 17 of their last 18.
• The Wildcats last win over a ranked opponent came on Dec. 19, 2011 when they defeated then-ranked No. 12/11 Kansas, 80-74, in Kansas City.
