• The Wildcats are led by two SoCon Players of the Year. De'Mon Brooks earned the honor from the SoCon coaches, and Jake Cohen got the award from the media association. While the media association (began voting in 1951-52) and the coaches (began voting in 1989-90) have differed on their selections over the years, it's the first time two players from the same team have split the honor.
• Brooks was also named the SoCon Tourney MVP, while Cohen earned all-tournament honors.
• McKillop was named SoCon Coach of the Year in the coaches' poll. It's his eighth SoCon Coach of the Year distinction. One of the nation's longest-tenured active coaches, McKillop will be coaching in his 697th collegiate contest today, all at Davidson.
• McKillop has led Davidson to 25 wins or more in four of the last six seasons.
• With today's NCAA Tournament appearance, every four-year player in the Davidson program since 1994 will have played in the “Big Dance.”

• Louisville is 12-4 in its last 16 contests. The Cardinals are 4-0 in neutral site games with all four wins coming in the Big East Tourney.
• The Big East title helped the Cardinals move into 18th in the ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll. They are not ranked in the Associated Press Poll because the AP does not put out another poll until after the NCAA?Tournament.

Davidson Milestone Watch
• Fellow juniors Jake Cohen and JP Kuhlman registered their 1,000th career point this season. Cohen's came against Western Carolina Jan. 12, and Kuhlman topped the mark at Appalachian State Jan. 14. Both players are playing in their 97th career contest today.
• Cohen is one of three players in school history to record over 1,000 career points, 500 rebounds and 100 blocked shots (Jamie Hall '82, Detlef Musch '93). Davidson did not keep blocks as a stat until the 1976-77 season. He is 19 blocked shots away from breaking the school career record and one away from setting a new single season mark. • Kuhlman joins Stephen Curry as the only two players in school history to tally over 1,000 career points, 400 rebounds and 300 assists.
• De'Mon Brooks is 209 points away from 1,000 and 142 rebounds shy of 500.
• Nik Cochran is 240 points short of 1,000 and went over the 200-assist mark with six against Western Carolina.
