Layup Line
• The Wildcats open a two-game road trip at defending Southern Conference champion Wofford Wednesday.
Bob McKillop, who is five wins shy of his 400th career victory at Davidson, is coaching his 1,000th game tonight (344 as a high school coach).
• Davidson has won four in a row and is coming off a 73-59 home win against Chattanooga Saturday. The Wildcats are 5-5 in their last 10.
• The 'Cats are 3-8 on the road this season and 3-4 in road league games.
• Davidson is in fourth place in the SoCon South Division while Wofford is in second.
• Wofford is 7-2 in its last nine and coming off a 74-60 road win at The Citadel Saturday.
• The Terriers are 6-3 at home and 5-2 in home league contests.
• SoCon Player of the Year candidate Noah Dahlman leads the Terriers in scoring with 20.8 points a game and is shooting 63 percent from the floor.
• Cameron Rundles averages 13.3 points, and Jamar Diggs averages 12.2.
• Tim Johnson leads the team in rebounding at 8.4 boards a contest.
• The Terriers average 15.4 assists and 12.5 turnovers a game.

Series History
• Davidson leads the all-time series 69-24, but Wofford has won the last three meetings.
• The series began in the 1911-12 season with a 44-37 Terrier victory.
• Davidson is 17-13 against Wofford on the road, 5-5 in Benjamin Johnson Arena and 17-9 under coach Bob McKillop.
• Cameron Rundles scored 22 points, including 20 in the first half, and Wofford survived a late Davidson run to post a 69-64 win in the season's first meeting in Belk Arena Jan. 15.
JP Kuhlman led Davidson with 14 points, and Nik Cochran added 11. Clint Mann scored nine, while Jake Cohen had eight points, eight rebounds and four blocked shots. De'Mon Brooks and Brendan McKillop both scored eight.
• Noah Dahlman added 13 points and seven boards for the Terriers, and Brad Loesing finished with nine points.
• Trailing by eight with 1:22 to play, Davidson trimmed the lead to two points in the final minute but couldn't get over the hump, which was a microcosm of the entire game. Davidson began fouling to get back in the game with 1:27 left and climbed to within 64-62 on a Cochran 3-pointer with 46 seconds left.
• The game plan then changed to trying to get a defensive stop and get the ball back with time left and a chance to tie or win. But with no timeouts left for Davidson, there was miscommunication between the bench and court, and the 'Cats fouled Loesing with 35 seconds left. The junior hit both free throws, pushing the margin back to four.
• After a Kuhlman layup, the Wildcats fouled with six seconds left. Terry Martin went 1-for-2 from the free-throw line, leaving the score at 67-64. Davidson tried to run a play to go the length of the court and get a 3-pointer to tie, but Jamar Diggs got a steal and hit two free throws to seal the win.
• Cohen and Kuhlman each scored 15 points, but Davidson lost a tough battle, 68-62, in the last game at Wofford, which took place in January of 2010.
Will Archambault added 12 points and nine rebounds for the Wildcats, and Brendan McKillop scored eight points.
• Dahlman led the Terriers with 17 points, and Rundles scored 13 points, with nine coming from the free-throw line. Tim Johnson corralled a game-high 16 rebounds, and Diggs finished with nine points.
• The Wildcats held Wofford to 40.4 percent shooting from the field, but the Terriers made their living from the foul line, canning 28-of-44 free throws, including 17-of-30 in the second frame.
• Kuhlman completed a conventional 3-point play to tie the score 60-60 with 1:36 to play. After Diggs was fouled and hit 1-of-2 from the line, the Terriers got a steal, and a Dahlman layup made it a 3-point margin with 1:07 left.
• Cochran scored on a layup with 35.5 seconds left and trailing by a point, the 'Cats were forced to foul Rundles. He hit them both, and the Terriers got another steal and a fast-break layup by Loesing to make the score 67-62 with 13 seconds left.
• Dahlman blocked an Archambault jumper from behind on the Wildcats' next trip down the floor, and Rundles hit another free throw for the final margin.

Leftovers from Chattanooga
Brendan McKillop moved into fourth in career 3-pointers made at Davidson, tying Peter Anderer with 190.
• After starting 0-4 against teams in the SoCon North Division, Davidson has won its last two.

Claw Marks
• Davidson has been within six points or less (two possessions) of its opponents in the last five minutes in seven of its 12 losses this season, including three of the last four. The 'Cats have been within three points or less (one possession) in the last five minutes of five of their losses.
Brendan McKillop has been named one of 66 candidates for the Bob Cousy Award, which recognizes college basketball's top point guard.
• Cohen was named to the MSG Holiday Festival All-Tournament Team after averaging 15.5 points, seven rebounds and two blocked shots in two games.
• Davidson has held its opponents to under 40 percent shooting in eight games and won all eight.
• With just one non-conference game left in the regular season (Presbyterian Feb. 19), Davidson owns a 6-5 non-conference mark.
• Davidson began the season by playing 10 of its first 13 games on the road. The 'Cats home opener was the sixth game of the year, the latest during the 22-year tenure of head coach Bob McKillop.
• Davidson won its home opener for the 19th consecutive season.
• The Wildcats opened SoCon play with two games in Charleston for the second-straight campaign.
• The Wildcats' 80-52 loss at No. 24 Vanderbilt Jan. 2, was their worst loss since a 75-47 setback at then eighth-ranked Duke in 2006.

Milestone Watch
Brendan McKillop is 256 points away from 1,000 for his career. He also needs one 3-pointer to move into sole possession of fourth on the career list at Davidson. The game against Furman Jan. 12, was his 100th career contest.
Jake Cohen has 69 career blocked shots, placing him 10th on Davidson's career list. Frank Ben-Eze needs 19 to crack the top-10.
• Cohen needs 293 points for 1,000, and Kuhlman needs 290.
