• Davidson returns to action in a home conference contest against South Division foe Furman Saturday at 7 p.m.
• The Wildcats have won 15 of their last 19, dating back to last season. Davidson is coming off a 72-69 road league win at Wofford Thursday.
• Davidson has won its last four SoCon regular-season games, dating back to last season.
• Davidson returns seven of its top eight scorers and four starters from last season. Players who accounted for 81 percent of the team's scoring and 87 percent of the team's rebounding are back in uniform this year.
JP Kuhlman and Jake Cohen were selected preseason All-SoCon by the league's coaches. Both players have been starters for the bulk of their careers.
• Kuhlman is 104 points away from 1,000 for his career, and Cohen is 114 points shy.
• The 'Cats, who have posted nine straight winning seasons, were picked to win the SoCon South Division in the league's Coaches and Media Polls.
• Davidson is 3-0 at home this season.
• Furman is coming off a 77-70 setback at Elon Wednesday night. The Paladins have lost two in a row.
• Furman is 1-2 on the road this season.
• The Paladins were picked fourth in the South Division in the Preseason Coaches Poll.

Series History
• Davidson leads the all-time series, which began over 100 years ago, 94-61, and has won 11 of the last 12 against the Paladins.
• The Wildcats are 48-27 against Furman at home, 16-1 in Belk Arena and 30-6 under head coach Bob McKillop.
• Last Time: Furman's Darryl Evans finished with a career-high 24 points as the Paladins shot 60 percent in the second half to take an 88-79 victory over Davidson in Timmons Arena.
Nik Cochran led three Davidson scorers in double figures with 18 points. Brendan McKillop and De'Mon Brooks both added 16 points, and Brooks led the 'Cats on the glass with seven rebounds. JP Kuhlman had seven assists to go along with six points and five rebounds.
• Noah States and Jordan Miller both scored 14 points for Furman. Colin Reddick finished with a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Amu Saaka added 13 points and eight rebounds.
• Davidson used a 13-4 run to take a 57-54 lead with 8:00 remaining, but it was short lived as Furman used an 11-2 run to build a two-possession cushion they would not relinquish over the remaining five-and-a-half-minutes. The Paladins scored on their final 16 possessions and hit their last 13 free throws to secure the win.
• Last time in Belk: Nik Cochran scored a career-high 22 points, and Davidson held Furman without a field goal for 10:20 in the second half to post a 79-70 win.
• Cochran made all three of his field goal attempts, which all came from behind the 3-point line, and netted 13-of-15 from the free-throw line. JP Kuhlman added 14 points for the Wildcats, and De'Mon Brooks recorded 11 points, eight rebounds and three assists.
• Jordan Miller led the Paladins with 21 points, and Colin Reddick scored 13 points, with nine coming from the charity stripe. Noah States added 10 points.
• The teams combined for 51 fouls and shot 71 free throws, making 55. Davidson shot 76 percent from the line, and Furman made 79 percent. The Wildcat bench exploded for 40 points as a few starters sat most of the first frame in foul trouble.

Leftovers from Wofford
• Cohen and Brooks were both just one point shy of their career-high point totals of 27 and 24, respectively.
• Davidson has now won two in a row at Wofford.
• Davidson has started their conference slate on the road the past three seasons.

Claw Marks
JP Kuhlman was named SoCon Player of the Week Nov. 29, after scoring 21 points to lead Davidson to a 70-67 victory at UNC Wilmington last Saturday.
• Davidson hit all of its free throws (14-for-14) against Duke Nov. 18, for the first time since 2008 (Appalachian State, 6-for-6).
• The Wildcats have led at halftime in all six games this season.
• Davidson did not give up a 3-pointer at UNCW Nov. 26 (0-for-3).

Davidson Milestone Watch
Jake Cohen is 63 blocked shots away from breaking the school record. Frank Ben-Eze needs 26 to crack the top-10.
• Cohen needs 114 points for 1,000, and 203 rebounds to crack the top-20.
JP Kuhlman needs 104 points for 1,000 and three assists to break into the top-20.
