• Davidson travels to Cullowhee to take on Western Carolina in a Southern Conference contest.
• It's the only game scheduled between the Wildcats and Catamounts this season.
• The game will be televised live on SportsSouth with Tom Werme and Daymeon Fishback calling the action.
• Davidson is in the midst of a stretch in which the Wildcats play eight games in 22 days, including four contests in 10 days.
• The Wildcats have won four of their last seven but are coming off a 74-66 home loss to Appalachian State Wednesday night.
• Davidson coach Bob McKillop is 10 wins shy of his 400th career victory.
• Davidson was picked to finish third in the SoCon South Division again this season, while Western Carolina was picked second in the North.
• The 'Cats are 1-5 on the road, including 1-1 in conference play.
• Western Carolina is coming off an 81-58 road victory over Georgia Southern Wednesday. The win ended a six-game losing skid for the Catamounts. All six losses were on the road.
• Western Carolina has only played two home games this season and won them both. This will be the Catamounts' first SoCon home game.
• Mike Williams leads the Catamounts in scoring with 15.1 points a game, and Trey Sumler averages 10.1 points.

Series History
• Davidson leads the all-time series 36-19 and earned a 75-72 victory in the last meeting, which took place in Cullowhee in February of last year.
• The series began with an 82-76 Wildcat win in 1977.
• The Wildcats are 15-8 against Western on the road, 13-1 in the RAC and 25-8 under head coach Bob McKillop.
Jake Cohen and Nik Cochran each scored 14 points to lead Davidson in the last contest.
• Cohen knocked down the first of two free throw attempts to give the Wildcats a three-point lead with six seconds left. He missed the second, and the Catamounts' Jake Robinson missed a contested 3-pointer as the horn sounded for the final margin.
Ben Allison netted tallied 12 points and seven rebounds off the bench as the Davidson reserves put up 35 points, including 28 in the first half. JP Kuhlman finished with 11 points, and Steve Rossiter scored 10.
Bryant Barr posted nine points and four rebounds, and Brendan McKillop had a game-high nine assists with no turnovers.
• Harouna Mutombo led the Catamounts with 15 points to go along with eight rebounds and four assists. Brandon Giles scored 13 points, and Robinson finished with 11.

Leftovers from Appalachian State

• Cohen missed his first free-throw of the night after making 29 in a row coming into the game.
• The Mountaineers have won the last three meetings against Davidson.
• It is the only game of the year between Davidson and Appalachian State.
• It was Davidson's first loss at home this season.

Brendan McKillop has been named one of 66 candidates for the Bob Cousy Award, which recognizes college basketball's top point guard.
• Cohen was named to the MSG?Holiday Festival All-Tournament Team after averaging 15.5 points, seven rebounds and two blocked shots in two games.
• Davidson has held its opponents to under 40 percent shooting in six games and won all six.
• With just one non-conference game left in the regular season (BracketBuster Feb. 19), Davidson owns a 6-5 non-conference mark.
• Davidson began the season by playing 10 of its first 13 games on the road. The 'Cats home opener was the sixth game of the year, the latest during the 22-year tenure of head coach Bob McKillop.
• Davidson won its home opener for the 19th consecutive season.
• The Wildcats opened SoCon play with two games in Charleston for the second-straight campaign.
• The Wildcats' 80-52 loss at No. 24 Vanderbilt Jan. 2, was their worst loss since a 75-47 setback at then eighth-ranked Duke in 2006.
