Layup Line
• The Wildcats travel to Greensboro to take on UNCG in the Greensboro Coliseum. It's the first of two meetings against the Spartans this season.
• Davidson is in the midst of a stretch in which the Wildcats play eight games in 22 days, including four contests in nine days.
• The Wildcats are 1-4 in their last five and coming off a 69-64 setback to Wofford at home Saturday.
• Davidson coach Bob McKillop is nine wins shy of his 400th career victory. He is slated to coach his 1,000th game (648 college, 344 high school) at Wofford Feb. 9.
• Davidson was picked to finish third in the SoCon South Division again this season, while UNCG was picked fourth in the North.
• The 'Cats are 1-6 on the road this season, including 1-2 in league road games.
• Wofford is second in the South with a 4-1 record. The Terriers' lone loss came at home against first-place College of Charleston last Saturday.
• UNCG picked up its first win of the season, a 75-74 decision at Appalachian State last Thursday.
• The Spartans have played the fifth-toughest non-conference schedule in the country, according to KenPom.com. Their overall slate ranks 36th and includes games against Florida State, Virginia Tech, Clemson, Maryland, Wake Forest and Duke.
• UNCG is 0-9 at home and 0-4 in home league games.
• Aloysius Henry leads the Spartans in scoring and rebounding, averaging 11.2 points and six rebounds a game.
Series History
• Davidson leads the all-time series 20-7 and has won the last nine.
• The series began with a 69-68 Wildcat road win in 1998.
• The 'Cats are 8-3 against the Spartans at home, and all 27 games in the series have come during Bob McKillop's tenure.
• JP Kuhlman scored 14 points to lead Davidson to a 60-56 victory over UNC Greensboro in the last meeting, which took place at Belk Arena last February.
• Will Archambault finished with 11 points and a team-high seven rebounds. Kuhlman added five rebounds and five assists, while Cohen scored 13 points. Brendan McKillop tallied nine points and six assists.
• Kendall Toney scored 16 points for UNC Greensboro, and Kyle Randall posted 15 points, seven boards and four steals. Brian Cole scored 14 points.
Leftovers from Wofford
• It was Wofford's third straight win over Davidson, and the Terriers improved to 10-3 in Belk Arena.
• Cochran reached double figures in the scoring column for the third consecutive game.
• Brendan McKillop needs 13 3-pointers to move into the top-5 at Davidson for his career.

• Brendan McKillop has been named one of 66 candidates for the Bob Cousy Award, which recognizes college basketball's top point guard.
• Cohen was named to the MSG?Holiday Festival All-Tournament Team after averaging 15.5 points, seven rebounds and two blocked shots in two games.
• Davidson has held its opponents to under 40 percent shooting in six games and won all six.
• With just one non-conference game left in the regular season (BracketBuster Feb. 19), Davidson owns a 6-5 non-conference mark.
• Davidson began the season by playing 10 of its first 13 games on the road. The 'Cats home opener was the sixth game of the year, the latest during the 22-year tenure of head coach Bob McKillop.
• Davidson won its home opener for the 19th consecutive season.
• The Wildcats opened SoCon play with two games in Charleston for the second-straight campaign.
• The Wildcats' 80-52 loss at No. 24 Vanderbilt Jan. 2, was their worst loss since a 75-47 setback at then eighth-ranked Duke in 2006.

• Brendan McKillop is 316 points away from 1,000 for his career. He also needs 13 3-pointers to move into the career top-5 at Davidson. The game against Furman Jan. 12, was his 100th career contest.
• Jake Cohen has 64 career blocked shots, placing him 10th on Davidson's career list. Frank Ben-Eze needs 19 to crack the top-10.
• Cohen needs 367 points for 1,000, and Kuhlman needs 398.
