Layup Line
• Davidson caps a four-game homestand by hosting Appalachian State in Belk Arena.
• The four-game stretch, which began Dec. 28 against Penn, is the longest homestand of the season for the Wildcats.
• Today's game will be televised live on SportsSouth.
• Davidson plays eight of its final 15 regular-season games at home. The Wildcats' remaining regular-season games are all SoCon contests.
• The 'Cats have won four straight games and five of their last six. Davidson is coming off a 66-56 victory over Samford Monday.
• Davidson is 5-1 in Belk Arena.
• Appalachian State is 3-3 in its last six but has lost its last three contests. Two of the three came on the road.

• Davidson leads the all-time series 37-29 and has won the last four.
• The series began with a 52-49 Wildcat victory in the 1946-47 season.
• The 'Cats are 9-6 in Belk Arena and 21-12 against Appalachian State under Bob McKillop.
• Davidson won both meetings last year, topping the Mountaineers 70-52 in Boone and 84-68 in the SoCon Tournament quarterfinals.
Stephen Curry scored 43 points in the tourney game after shooting 11-of-19 from the floor, including 5-for-10 from 3-point range, and 16-for-18 from the free-throw line in 27 minutes of action. His point total tied for the third-most in SoCon Tournament history, and it was the most since Skip Henderson of Marshall netted 55 against The Citadel in 1988.
Andrew Lovedale collected 17 points and a game-high 14 rebounds, his 10th double-double, while Steve Rossiter, Max Paulhus Gosselin and Bryant Barr each scored six points.
• Donald Sims led the Mountaineers with 29 points, hitting all 12 free-throw attempts, and Josh Hunter posted 13 points and seven rebounds.
• The Mountaineers' last win over the Wildcats came in Belk Arena when App. posted an 81-74 victory Jan. 20, 2007. That ended a 12-game winning streak for Davidson and was the 'Cats' only SoCon loss in the 2006-07 season. It also halted an 11-game home winning streak.

Leftovers from Samford
• It's the only meeting between Davidson and Samford this season.
• McKillop's six 3-pointers are a career high.
• The teams came into the game as the two top 3-point shooting teams in the SoCon, and each squad netted 10.
• The Davidson bench outscored its opponent for the 13th time this season.

Bryant Barr needs 43 points to reach 700 for his career.
Steve Rossiter needs 41 points and 13 rebounds to become the 30th Davidson player to tally 500 points and 500 rebounds.
• Davidson coach Bob McKillop is 26 wins shy of his 400th career victory.
• With 119 career games played, Will Archambault and Bryant Barr are both 11 games away from the school record, set by Andrew Lovedale 2005-09.
• Davidson has hit 13 or more 3-pointers in five games this season (Fredonia State, The Citadel, Gonzaga, TCNJ, Penn).

Archambault Nearing 1,000 Points
• Senior Will Archambault is closing in on becoming the 38th Davidson player to score 1,000 points in his career.
• He needs 108 points to reach the mark.
• Archambault also needs 133 rebounds for 500 career caroms.

Tough Non-Conference Slate
• Davidson finished non-conference play with a 5-7 record.
• According to the 2010 Pomeroy College Basketball Rankings, Davidson has played the 55th-toughest non-conference schedule in the country.
• As of Jan. 6, the non-conference opponents that defeated the Wildcats have a combined record of 70-27, and all seven have a winning record.

A Strong Bench
• Davidson's bench has outscored its opponent in all but two games and owns a 345-217 cumulative edge on the season.
• Players coming off the projected bench for today's game are averaging a combined 20.4 points a contest.
