Layup Line
• Davidson travels to Georgia Southern for a 2 p.m. contest Saturday. The game will be televised live on SportsSouth.
• The Wildcats have played the first contest of each of their two-game series against SoCon South Division opponents on the road. The game at Georgia Southern is the last of the five, and Davidson is 2-2.
• The Wildcats are 2-4 on the road and 3-8 in games away from home this season.
• Following Saturday's contest, the Wildcats play six of their final 10 regular-season games at home. All remaining games are SoCon contests.
• The 'Cats have won six of their last 10 but are coming off a 77-67 home loss to Western Carolina Wednesday.
• Georgia Southern is coming off a 68-65 home league win over Appalachian State. The Eagles have won two straight SoCon games at home and are 2-1 in Hanner Field House against league opponents. GSU?is 5-3 overall at home.
• With their pressing, up-tempo style, the Eagles are forcing their opponents into 18.5 turnovers a game.
• Willie Powers leads the team in scoring with 14.1 points a game, while Antonio Hanson and Ben Drayton are averaging 12.4 and 8.8, respectively.

• Davidson leads the all-time series 22-6 and has won the last five contests.
• The series began with an 84-64 Davidson victory Jan. 30, 1962.
• The 'Cats are 19-6 against the Eagles during Bob McKillop's tenure and 9-6 in Hanner Field House.
Stephen Curry scored a game-high 34 points to break the school's career scoring record and lead the Wildcats to a 99-56 victory over Georgia Southern in the last meeting.
Andrew Lovedale finished the game with 14 points and four rebounds, and Max Paulhus Gosselin posted four points, four assists, three rebounds and five steals.
• Ben Drayton led Georgia Southern with 18 points, while Colby Wohlleb netted 11, and Tyler Troupe added 10.
Steve Rossiter recorded 12 points and nine rebounds for Davidson, and Brendan McKillop netted eight points off the bench. Will Archambault finished with seven points, five rebounds and three steals.
• Davidson, which led the whole way, shot 55 percent for the game while holding the Eagles to 36 percent. The 'Cats scored 31 points off 25 turnovers and outrebounded the Eagles 44-26. The Wildcats scored the first 16 points of the game and never looked back in building a 31-10 margin midway through the first half.

Leftovers from Western
• The loss snapped a five-game winning streak against Western Carolina.
• Kuhlman has scored in double-figures in each of the last six games.
• Rossiter now needs just seven points to become the 30th Davidson player to tally 500 points and 500 rebounds.
• The game was the first this season with students on campus as the previous seven were during holiday breaks.

Archambault Nearing 1,000 Points
• Senior Will Archambault is closing in on becoming the 38th Davidson player to score 1,000 points in his career.
• He needs 58 points to reach the mark.
• Archambault also needs 111 rebounds for 500 career caroms.

BlackOut Belk Set for Jan. 28
• The fourth annual BlackOut Belk Arena will be held Thursday, Jan. 28, when Davidson hosts College of Charleston at 7 p.m.
• The concept behind BlackOut Belk is to flood Belk Arena with black T-shirts, showing a unified home crowd and also Davidson's commitment to the community as proceeds from the event are donated to a local charity each year. This year's charity is Circle de Luz, an organization that empowers Latino girls and young women through mentoring, programming and scholarship funds to further their education. Circle de Luz was founded by Davidson College alum and former Director of Community Service Rosie Molinary.
• Black Out Belk t-shirts can be purchased for $15 at 'Cats on Main spirit store in downtown Davidson or at the Davidson Bookstore while supplies last. Shirts can be purchased via cash, check, Cat Card and credit.
