• The 'Cats have lost eight of their last 10 overall, dating back to last season.
• Campbell enters the game with a 1-1 record and is coming off a 35-28 overtime loss at Birmingham Southern last Saturday.

Series Record
• The Wildcats and Camels met for the first time in 2008 at Barker-Lane Stadium in Buies Creek, N.C., and Davidson earned a 49-0 victory.

• Alexander completed 19-of-25 passes, including a 26-yard TD pass to Andrew Aldrich.

• Hard running by the Bears and some missed tackles by Davidson also led two long touchdown runs in the third quarter. Byron Darby broke free for a 77-yard run on the first play from scrimmage of the second half. Two possessions later after Wildcat punter Andrew Wohler pinned the Bears on their own 5-yard line, Courman broke off a 95-yard touchdown run that made the score 28-0 and put the game away.

• Davidson has been shut out in its first two games of the 2009 campaign. It's the first time Davidson has not scored in consecutive games since the 1985 season, when the 'Cats lost 28-0 at James Madison and 15-0 to Penn the previous week. The 'Cats failed to score in three straight games that season as they lost 31-0 at The Citadel.
