Layup Line
• Davidson will play its second neutral site game of the season as the Wildcats travel to New York City to face West Virginia in the Jimmy V Classic in West Virginia.
• It will be the 'Cats' first game in MSG since playing Syracuse in the 1972 Postseason NIT and Davidson's first meeting against West Virginia since the 1994 postseason NIT.
• It's Davidson's first appearance in the Jimmy V Classic, which began in 1995.
• Villanova will take on Texas in the nightcap of the Jimmy V Classic doubleheader.
• The Wildcats posted a 99-64 victory over James Madison in their other neutral site game so far this season. That contest was part of the Dick's Sporting Goods NIT Season Tip-Off in Norman, Okla., Nov. 17.
• The Wildcats have won their last four games, all of which have come at home.
• Davidson is off to its best start since the 'Cats went 6-1 to open the 2002-03 campaign.
• The Wildcats have won 30 of their last 33 games, dating back to Jan. 3, 2008, and are coming off a 72-67 victory over NC State in Charlotte's Time Warner Cable Arena Saturday afternoon.
• West Virginia has won its last two games, including a 53-43 decision over Cleveland State at home Saturday.
• The Mountaineers are 2-1 on neutral floors with all three games coming in the Las Vegas Invitational.
• It's West Virginia's first appearance in the Jimmy V Classic as well.
• The Mountaineers are 48-9 against non-conference competition in the last five seasons.

Series History
• West Virginia leads the all-time series 18-15. The series began with a 59-53 Mountaineer victory in the 1956 SoCon Tournament.
• The Wildcats and Mountaineers competed against each other as members of the Southern Conference from 1950-68. West Virginia was 12-8 against Davidson during that time period.
• The teams last played in the 1994 postseason NIT at West Virginia. It was the first Davidson team to advance to the postseason under Bob McKillop.
• West Virginia earned an 85-69 victory in that game behind 19 points and seven rebounds from Pervires Greene. Marsalis Basey and Mike Boyd each scored 17.
• Brandon Williams led Davidson with 13 points, while Janko Narat and Quinn Harwood each had 12.

Homecoming for Coach McKillop
• Tuesday's game will be a homecoming for New York native Bob McKillop. It will be the first time he has coached Davidson in Madison Square Garden.
• McKillop, who grew up on Long Island, played baseball and basketball at Chaminade High School.
• He began his collegiate career in basketball at East Carolina but transferred to Hofstra, where he became the team's MVP and was later elected into the school's Hall of Fame.
• He began his coaching career at Holy Trinity High School, where he spent five seasons, and also coached at Long Island Lutheran from 1979-89 before becoming the head coach at Davidson.

Claw Marks
• Head coach Bob McKillop is four wins away from 350 for his career.
Andrew Lovedale has posted a double-double in three of the last four games.
Stephen Curry has hit the 20-point mark in 53 games, the 30-point mark in 20 outings and the 40-point plateau four times.
• Davidson set a school record with 25 steals against Guilford Nov. 14. Curry and Max Paulhus Gosselin combined for 17.
• Davidson is now 1-2 all-time in Time Warner Cable Arena with the losses coming to North Carolina and Duke last season and a win against NC?State this season.
• The 'Cats' victory over NC State was their first against an ACC school since defeating North Carolina 58-54 in Chapel Hill Nov. 20, 2001.
