Joe Lehrman joined Davidson College as the Assistant Director of Athletic Communications in June of 2025. He will be the primary contact for men’s soccer, women's basketball and men's tennis.
Before arriving at Davidson, Lehrman served as the graduate assistant for Athletic Communication at Canisius University from August of 2023 until May of 2025.
While at Canisius, Lehrman was the primary communications contact for the men's soccer team in the fall, women's basketball and swimming and diving teams in the winter and the baseball team in the spring. He also assisted with photography and statistics for all other athletic programs throughout the year and provided web and social media content while earning his Master’s Degree in Sports Administration.
He received a Bachelor’s Degree in mass communication at the University of North Carolina at Asheville and was a four-year member of UNC Asheville baseball team as the student manager from 2017 through 2021. Following his graduation, Lehrman spent one year as a sports information assistant at UNC Asheville where he was the primary contact for the men’s and women’s track and field teams.
Lehrman is a native of Raleigh, N.C. and resides in Cornelius, N.C.
