2010: Appeared in 33 games and made 31 starts in his junior season for the Wildcats ... finished the season batting .257 (29-for-113) with eight doubles, two home runs and 21 RBI ... had seven mulit-hit and six multi-RBI games ... went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two doubles and four RBI against NC Central in the first game of a double-header April 17 ... also went 3-for-4 with with two doubles, a home run and four RBI against Presbyterian Feb. 27 ... put together a three-game stretch where he batted .571 (8-for-14) with two doubles, a home run and nine RBI against Presbyterian and Mount St. Mary's Feb. 27 and 28 ... ranked 11th in the SoCon in sacrifice bunts with six.

2009: Appeared in 21 games and made five starts behind the plate for the Wildcats in his sophomore season ... recorded eight hits (four doubles), one home run and eight RBI in 34 at-bats ... his walkoff single lifted the Wildcats to a 5-4, 10-inning win over The Citadel April 12 (1-for-2, 2 RBI) ... went a perfect 2-for-2 with a home run, two runs and four RBI as a pinch hitter against the College of Charleston May 3... earned team’s Rick Smyre Hustle Award along with Seth Freeman.

2008: Co-winner of the team Hustle Award… played in seven games off the bench… had a two-run double in his only plate appearance and scored a run at Furman (5/3).

Prep/ Personal: Lettered four seasons at Hopkins School under coach Bob Hart… team won its league three years during his career ... the son of Bill General and Joy Bershstein… has two younger sisters, Allison and Sheryl-Leigh… plans to major in economics.
