Faulkner Finishes T-4th at The Peoples Championship

SAINT SIMONS ISLAND, Ga. – Davidson's Nate Faulkner signed for his third consecutive round of two-under 69 to come home tied for fourth in The Peoples Championship hosted by Western Carolina at Sea Palms Resort.
A sophomore from Roanoke, Va., Faulkner finished the three-day / 54-hole event at 207 (-6) to record his second career Top-5 showing.
Jackson Bode was another bright spot for the Wildcats Saturday shooting an even-par 71, while Alexander Paschall and Will Tharin posted two-over 73s competing as individuals.
Xavier (-14) rallied on the closing holes to pass the host Catamounts (-12) on the leaderboard and claim the team title by two shots.
The Musketeers' Cayse Morgan captured individual medalist at 11-under 202.

Davidson will enjoy a two-week break from tournament action before traveling to Wilmington, N.C., for the Seahawk Intercollegiate March 30-31.
