‘Cats Return Home to Face George Washington

DAVIDSON, N.C. – Facing its longest losing streak of the season, the Davidson Wildcats women's basketball team looks to get back on track with a home game against George Washington Saturday afternoon.

Davidson fell on the road to St. Bonaventure, 59-50, Wednesday evening inside the Reilly Center.
Despite the loss, Charlise Dunn added another double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds, while Katie Donovan scored 13 for the Wildcats, who shot just 34.5 percent.
Trailing 52-43, Davidson reeled off seven straight points to cut the deficit to 52-50 with 90 ticks left. The Bonnies responded with seven unanswered of their own to secure their first win over the 'Cats in five years.

The Wildcats lead the all-time series 7-6 and hold a 3-3 record inside Belk Arena. Last season, the 'Cats went on the road and defeated the Revs 73-54, which extended their winning streak to seven games.
Dunn led all-scorers with 25 points including five made 3-pointers for her 13th double-figure and fourth 20-point game of the 2024-25 season.
Millie Prior was just shy of a double-double with eight points, nine rebounds and three blocks while Katie Donovan (9) and Tomisin Adenupe (8) just missed the double-digit scoring threshold as well.
The Revolutionaries enter the contest on a three-game winning streak and seventh place in the A-10 standings.
DOUBLE-DOUBLE STREAK
Despite the losing stretch, Charlise Dunn has been outstanding for the Wildcats, notching her fourth straight double-double after her performance at St. Bonaventure. The streak is the longest of her career.
She leads the conference in total double-doubles with 11 this season, the 16th best mark in the nation this season. Dunn is averaging career-highs in scoring (15.3), rebounding (8.1) and assists (2.0). She ranks third in the A-10 in rebounding and sixth in scoring.
HOME SWEET HOME
The Wildcats have played well in the friendly confines of Belk Arena this season, holding 10-2 record.
The 'Cats are outscoring its opponents by a sizable +181 margin including a +15.1 margin per game. The Wildcats are shooting .439 percent from the field, .361 percent beyond the arc and .669 percent at the charity stripe on Bob McKillop court this season.
